Dr. Shirley Shani Ben-Zvi LAMFT, CT®

Therapist

Shirley believes hope isn’t a feeling. It’s the knowing that you can become the next best version of yourself, even when the rest of the world is at its worst. That belief shapes everything about how she works: she’s not here to fix you. You’re already the hero of your own story. She’s just here to help you find the next chapter.

Shirley specializes in grief in all its forms: the death of a loved one, perinatal loss, and the losses that don’t come with funerals but hurt just as much. She also works with individuals and families navigating suicide loss and suicidal ideation, bringing both clinical expertise and deep compassion to some of the hardest conversations a family can have.

Shirley holds a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, a Certification in Thanatology (CT®) from the Association for Death Education and Counseling, and is a certified Geek Therapist and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). She offers sessions in English and Hebrew, in person and online.
