SFBT 101:  A PRACTICAL INTRODUCTION TO

SOLUTION FOCUSED BRIEF THERAPY

Thursday, January 18, 2024 12pm-3pm
Synchronous, Virtual webinar via Zoom
$80
Approved for 3 CORE hours for MFTs by GAMFT #149-2023.  Related hours for Allied Professions.

This presentation will go beyond the textbook version of SFBT and explore its practical aspects: the thought process of SFBT and what we actually do in the room. We’ll discuss and hopefully debunk some myths, and end with a role-play\practice session, so you can get a real feel of SFBT.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to bridge the gap between the textbook version and field practices of SFBT.

  • Participants will be able to conceptualize the solution-focused way of thought.

  • Participants will be able to use some SFBT techniques.
